Easter Carrot Cheese Ball
Ingredients
2 – 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
1/3 cup of sour cream
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
1 bag of finely shredded Cheddar or Mexican Cheese Blend
Instructions
In a large bowl combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, spices and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese. Stir until everything is combine.
On a piece of wax paper, scoop your cheese mixture and shape into a carrot shape.
Top with remaining shredded cheese and gently pat it into the cheese ball.
Place in fridge for a few minutes to help harden it up a bit.
Gently remove carrot shaped cheese ball from the wax paper and place on serving tray.
Add some greens (what you have on hand can work) to the top. I used Arugula because that’s what I had on hand. You could use actually greens from carrots, herbs, etc.
Serve immediately or refridgerate until you are ready to serve.
